Yikes! That's what we have been having and we are prepared for it with our housing etc. My sister is in Florida for the winter and she complained that they had to use their electric blanket! It seems that the weather is unusual in many places right now.

And at about 2 am this morning it was minus 12 , and in Staveren not far from here minus 14 celcius.
