Sailing ships

We had the pleasure to visit one of my customers in Vollenhove , Rondal and the main company, called Royal Huisman Shipyard. They make the best sailing ships of the world.


When we sold Ypma Fijnmetaal in 1994 , I worked for Rondal about a half year as interim manager in the workshop. This is the very beginning of building a ship.

Here we see another ship nearly halfway.

Hatches , no matter what size or what design, they make it .

Here you can see where they make the mast , this one is nearly 60 meters.

We ( Tineke , Marijke , Yde , Sjoukje and myself ) had a very interesting afternoon.
