As I promised here is the young man that took the picture, if you meet people like him , ( a complete stranger) your vacation cannot go wrong. It is a wonderfull world.

Music Garden is a must , according to Tineke, so again we visit this beautiful park.

This is an interesting story, we saw this house in 2007 , Tineke found it spooky , I liked it right after the first moment and wanted to buy the place and move to Toronto. Too bad we never did, but ... we get a second chance , it's for sale again... and I don't have to work on it and its not ghostly anymore. So now we are counting our money, if we have enough.

Talking to a workman , he is doing the plasterwork, and he is doing a very nice job. By the way he came from Iran so we had a lot to talk about it, ( I was and worked there in Iran for 5 years ).

One of the bathrooms , can't wait to go with Tineke to have a bath.

Inspecting the place , and I can tell you, the craftsmanship was and is tremendous.

Futuredreams on the balcony

Canada 1 Toronto

We zijn onverwacht , binnen een paar dagen beslist , naar Canada gegaan met de wetenschap dat komt allemaal goed . Family , vrienden en de Canadezen verwelkomen ons altijd hartelijk. Ja zelfs de tram ( streetcar) stopte voor ons waar het eigenlijk niet mocht.

Canada here we come !

Sure it is not bad to fly with them , lots of room traveling in "comfort" and the price was good.

Last year Feb. the building had only a few floors half ready, now some of the condo's are occupied already.

The weather was nice , too bad we left our swimming suits at home, but if I am not mistaken there is also a beach where you can do without, well ... not for us a good idea.

Casa Loma, Tineke and Sjoukje did the tour , I had a rest in the park.

The horse stable Sjoukje is here the princes.

On the subway , we had a daycard (10 dollars) traveling through the whole city , also busses and streetcars . You nearly never have to wait more then 5 a 7 minutes. The fellow who took the picture you will see in the next part.

Triathlon

Hier staan de dames gereed voor de eerste etappe van de triathlon, het zwemmen.
Sjoukje staat vooraan Marijke wat achteraf en Virna die zie je niet.

Hier komen Sjoukje en Virna ( in het blauw) uit het water.

En zo te zien heeft Marijke "it ein yn'e bek" na het zwemmen, maar ze werd uiteindelijk na het fietsen en harddraven éérste in haar categorie.
